The SPIKE GRIP 30 and GRIP 33 represent a revolution in grip design, engineered to reduce impulse shock and absorb vibration. A key feature is the custom-oversized CNC alloy lock rings, which ensure security on the handlebars and allow for a very light overall weight. These lock rings conveniently snap tightly into place on the grip body, with left and right indicators, as well as set-up angle marks. The grips are available in a variety of anodized colors to match any bike build.

Another innovative aspect is the large cut-outs in the plastic base of each grip, located in the area where the palm rests. These cut-outs allow the rubber tread to contact the handlebar directly, providing a softer feeling and enhancing the grip's ability to dampen vibration and shock. The added friction created by the rubber on the bar also helps to optimize the locking security of the grip.

The SPIKE GRIP 33 takes grip design a step further, with several unique features. Three traction ribs in the front section anatomically lock into the joints of each finger, optimizing traction where maximum torque is applied during riding. These ribs are directionally ramped to allow a smooth feeling when the hand is rotated forward, while increasing traction when the rider pulls back on the bar. This reduces the need for a tight "death-grip" on the bars in rough terrain, lessening fatigue and improving traction in wet, muddy, or dusty conditions.

The SPIKE GRIP 33 also features flared bar ends, providing a tactile index of bar end location and adding a feeling of security and lateral traction in adverse riding conditions. Additionally, the grip features an asymmetric firmness, with taller fins to the upper rear of the grip, where the rider's weight is supported, providing a softer zone that more effectively damps vibration and shock.
